German violin by Hans Trautner from Jahr 1910. Hans Trautner lived and worked between 1870 to 1946 in the Bavarian town of Ansbach. Trautner’s work varies in its quality. Especially his earlier instruments are of decent but rather simple quality. This violin by Hans Trautner is a very fine instrument made of excellent wood with beautiful transparent varnish. The inside of the back is stamped ‘Hans Trautner Ansbach’. Length of back: 35.5 cm
