He married Marie Marguerite Hyacinte <strong>LAMY<\/strong> in 1861 in Mirecourt. Since that day, he has taken over the management of the company, which is now called <strong>J\u00e9r\u00f4me Thibouville-Lamy (J.T.L.)<\/strong>. The company is a manufacturer of various musical instruments such as violins, bows, wind instruments and accessories. From 1870 onwards,<strong> J.T.L<\/strong>. was supported by the well-known bow maker Jean Joseph <strong>MARTIN<\/strong>, who had a significant influence on the bow making of the company. Even after the death of J\u00e9rome Thibouville-Lamy in 1902, the company continued to be run by various violin makers such as <strong>ACOULON<\/strong> and <strong>BLONDELET<\/strong>. Simpler industrial student bows are created, but the beautiful bows are still made by hand by talented bow makers. The <strong>&#8220;J.T.L.&#8221;<\/strong> house closed its doors in 1968.<\/p>\n<p>The round rod of our bow is made of very good pernambuco and is very strong. All metal parts are made of silver.<\/p>\n<p>The bow bears on the pole the stamp of Louis <strong>FRICOT<\/strong>, a bow maker from Poussay near Mirecourt, who worked for the house of <strong>J.T.L<\/strong>. from 1912.<\/p>\n<p>The weight of the bow is 62 grams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The arch includes a <strong>Certificat d&#8217;Authenticit\u00e9 des Cabinet d&#8217;Archetiers Experts Jean-Francois RAFFIN.
