His stay in 1874 in the Parisian workshop of Jean Baptiste VUILLAUME, where he worked with the best bowmakers of the time, was crucial for his later quality.\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\"><strong>Hermann Richard PFRETZSCHNER<\/strong>, the best bowmaker from the renowned <strong>PFRETZSCHNER<\/strong> bowmaking family in Markneukirchen, was the son of the bowmaker Carl Richard <strong>PFRETZSCHNER<\/strong>, from whom he also learned his trade. His stay in 1874 in the Parisian workshop of Jean Baptiste <strong>VUILLAUME<\/strong>, where he worked with the best bowmakers of the time, was crucial for his later quality. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">This gave him very good contacts in France. Between 1900 and 1913 he regularly supplied bows to the violin making company <strong>\u201cSilvestre &amp; Maucotel\u201d<\/strong>, which then stamped his bows with its name. This company was supplied by the best bow makers of the time, such as <strong>BAZIN<\/strong>, <strong>LAMY<\/strong>, Louis <strong>THOMASSIN<\/strong>, <strong>HUSSON<\/strong> and also <strong>H.R. PFRETZSCHNER<\/strong>.
