Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Very good violin bow by Joseph Arthur VIGNERON p\u00e8re<\/strong> (1851 \u2013 1905). It was built around 1900.<\/p>\n

VIGNERON p\u00e8re<\/strong> was born in Mirecourt and was the son of a baker. He learned his trade from Claude Nicolas HUSSON<\/strong>, with whom he worked until 1872. He then worked for Jean-Joseph MARTIN<\/strong> until 1880. After that, VIGNERON p\u00e8re<\/strong> moved to Paris, where he worked for the renowned company GAND & BERNARDEL Fr\u00e8res<\/strong>. In 1888, he became self-employed in Paris.<\/p>\n

VIGNERON p\u00e8re<\/strong> has meanwhile developed his own style, which can be clearly recognized: The pins in the silver parts of the frog and legs are particularly thick (1.2 mm) and the head facets of the stick become noticeably wider towards the top.<\/p>\n

The bow bears the stamp “A.VIGNERON A PARIS”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The condition of preservation is very good. The weight of the bow is 61 grams.<\/p>\n
