Violin in mint condition by Charles DROUIN (1847 – ca. 1910), built in Mirecourt in 1908.
The violin bears the original note on the inside of the back:

No 543 Mirecourt, 1908.
Charles DROUIN was also the owner of the well-known brand “Chipot-Vuillaume”, whose name he used for his instruments until 1897.
The violin is very well crafted in the typical Mirecourt style.
