Our master violin making studio in Munich
Our master violin making studio in Munich was founded in 1970 and is now firmly established as one of the most acclaimed violin making centres in Germany.
We are lucky to have spacious premises in Munich’s Spiegelstrasse where we are able to offer an exhibition space, separate practice rooms and a violin making studio, making it an ideal environment in which to advise our customers on their individual needs. We offer a range of carefully selected instruments and bows representing the highest musical quality available in every price category.

Our customers – professionals & students, beginners & experts
Our customers include many prominent professional musicians from the Bavarian State Opera, the Munich Philharmonic, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Radio Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Bavarian State Theatre at Gaertnerplatz and many other leading international orchestras. We also regularly advise and sell to many non-professional musicians as well as music students of all levels.
Perhaps the most famous customer to pass through our studio in the past 30 years has been Nathan Milstein and maintaining good personal relationships with leading international musicians from Paris and London is as much a strength of ours as advising beginners starting out playing the violin.
Our opening hours are Tuesdays to Fridays 10am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 12am. Please call for an appointment if you wish to try any specific instrument or bow from our catalogue. We look forward to seeing you in our studio!
