French violn by Léon Fischesser (Paris) from 1909 – No. 66. Léon Fischesser (1861-1937) who stems from the Alsace region, began freelancing in Geneva in 1889 and in Paris in 1905 where he worked in the Faubourg Poissonière. In 1900 Léon Fischesser made a violin for the famous violonist Joachim 

The violin is in perfect condition and carries the original label Léon Fischesser, Luthier d’Art 48 Faubourg Poissonière, Paris l’an 1909 No.66 Length of back 35,7cm
